Feedback on Opening Scene

After finishing our opening to our film. We wasn't as pleased with it as we had hope to have been, but we could not decide on what needed to be added in or taken away. We decided to make a questionnaire for a number of people to give us feedback on the film.
The questions which we asked people was:
1. What did you like about the film? Any favorite parts?
2. What did you not like about the film?
3. What can we do to improve?

This was handed out to eight people, four being girls and four being boys. This was varied ages as we wanted all ages opinions as this is our target audience.

The main feedback which we received was that the majority of people who were asked enjoyed the very beginning of the opening scene as it was unique. Almost every single person criticized the relationship of the two characters. This was not clear that they was husband and wife as no speech or contact was made.

We have decided to re-film the scene of walking into the house, to change a few things to make this more obvious.
